At San Diego Bus Charter we know that our clients count on and depend on us for safety for each and every charter. That's why we take safety seriously. Selecting the right affiliates to provide service to our clients is important but insuring they continue to provide quality and safe service for each and every charter is more important.
Federal Motor Carrier Registered
To stay involved with the latest laws and regulations our company is one of only two nationwide charter bus rental networks we know of that has registered with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) on a voluntary basis. Staying current with Federal laws and guidelines is a must. We register with them so that they may contact us with new laws or guidelines as they change.
Insurance
At your request and for "no additional charge" we can request your group receive a certificate of your own showing your firm or organization listed as additional insured direct from the bus owning company. Being listed as an additional insured means that if a cancellation is pending we will be notified and any reservations placed with that affiliate can be moved to another without our clients ever having a concern.
Federal Motor Carrier Safety Records
Prior to placing our business with our affiliates our staff utilizes the FMCSA to check on the safety rating of all affiliates. This system allows us to check and view history on each company, confirm insurance, check safety ratings including reported accidents or losses. San Diego Bus Charter's affiliates must hold satisfactory safety ratings with the FMCSA. A print out of this report is available upon request or your may visit their website at; www.safersys.org. Only carriers licesned to conduct operations outside their own State are required to be listed.

Our company spend hundreds of hours each month researching our current and new affiliates. Whether its follow up with a client to insure their charter bus experience was everything it should be or checking references on a company, we are constantly in the know about our affiliates.

New and Late Model Buses
There is not enough to be said about having a new or late model bus in excellent working condition. Let's face it, an operator who cannot afford to replace his/her bus after 10 years is probably not running a profitable operation. Operators who are concerned about public safety adhere to strict service guidelines set forth by the coach builders and will turn their equipment over as frequently as possible to insure they operate the safest and newest buses possible.
While no company can insure 100% that a charter will be performed without incident San Diego Bus Charter takes every measure available to us to select the best operators we can to provide service for our valued clients. These resources include previous history with our affiliates, safety records and other factors.
